Today, on the first day of HELL ON EARTH*, Google unveiled fifty new comic-themed iGoogle themes, and those lovable tech-jizzers gave me a theme too!

TWO WORDS: FUCKING FINALLY
Nice work. I love your style. Did you get paid for your Google theme?
Aw, I got beaten to the punch. I was gonna say omg you’re on Drawn! Oh, well, seconded!
::runs off to install your iGoogle theme::
daaaaaammmmnnnnn!
you are a fuken genius. Now go on and have a great day.
fuck yeah, I will!
I like your skills. I found you on LostAtEMinor. You have to tell me what the art scene in SF is like for you, as an Illustrator, and comic artist. Is it hard to find work? I mean you seem to be doing ok, but I’m just interested because I am planning on moving there. I am an art slave graduate and I just like to hear what other artists have to say! Danke!
Hi La Johnson. I am actually still a student, so I still get help from my parents; based on the little illustration work and gallery shows I get now, I could never hope to live independently in expensive ass SF on that small artists’ income unless I completely bust my ass on it full-time and scale back the comics (nothing is more financially draining than publishing comics). I also work seasonally as a film festival box office cashier to supplement my $$$ and I work irregularly for a music software contractor. Most of the illustration work I get is dealt with on the internet, and most of it does not come from within SF. I get work from LA, Seattle, Portland, etc. Freelancing for me seems is mostly done remotely, because everything can be scanned to print. SF is really fun to live in for an artist, but if you plan to be a fulltime freelance illustrator, you have to be prepared to be stuck in your studio all the time in order to afford living here.
I have your fucking Google theme. I have had it for the last fucking year. ‘Ts fucking sweet.
Please make an online gallery of your art.
